Healing Our Spirit Worldwide is an International Gathering that brings Indigenous peoples, communities, healers, leaders, and allies together to celebrate, share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and advance healing. Held every four years in various locations around the world, the Gathering creates a space for learning, cultural exchange, and collective action.
In May 2028, the 10th Healing Our Spirit Worldwide Gathering will take place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, on the traditional and unceded territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.
Indigenous leaders, health professionals, knowledge keepers, youth, community members, and allies from around the globe will gather to share experiences, celebrate culture, explore innovative practices, and learn from one another. The Gathering will feature workshops, presentations, healing activities, cultural performances, networking opportunities, and more.

Following careful consideration and consultation, the organizing committee made the collective decision to relocate the 10th Healing Our Spirit Worldwide Gathering from Washington, D.C. to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
This decision reflects our commitment to supporting broad international participation while remaining grounded in the spirit, purpose, and values of the Gathering.
We look forward to welcoming delegates from around the world to Ottawa in May 2028.
